What is an SIA Licence?
An SIA Licence is issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and is a legal requirement that allows those that hold a licence to work in licensed security roles across the UK.

Why would I need an SIA Licence?
If you want to work in the Security Industry, you'll need an SIA licence. it demonstrates that you've completed the required training, meet the nescessary standards and are legally permitted to carry out licensable security work.

How do I apply for my licence after ive completed my training course?
Once you have successfully completed your training and received your qualification, you'll be ready to apply for your SIA licence. the application is completed online through the Security Industry Authority. What's the difference between Door Supervisor and Security Guard
A Door Supervisor licence gives you access to a wider range of security roles, including licensed premises, while a security guard licence is limited to guarding roles.
